Realty 101 is a collection of common questions we often hear from customers. Here we'll answer any questions you may have about your future property purchase or rental. Please contact us if you have any questions/answers not listed below!
Q. I found a house online. How do I arrange to see it?
A. Simple! Call me to set up an appointment.
Q. I want to see several houses listed by different Realtors. Do I have to call each Realtor for an appointment?
A. No. You can call one Realtor, preferably me, to set up the appointments. As a member of the MLS, I have access to sell any property listed in the MLS.
Q. What is the MLS?
A. The Multiple Listing Service is a sharing of comprehensive home information among real estate professionals. It contains all the specifics about a home for sale.
Q. How can I make an offer on a home if I have to sell my home first?
A. A Realtor can guide you through the process of making a contingency offer for the purchase of a property.
Q. Should I get pre-qualified from a lending institution?
A. It is recommended that you get pre-approved for a loan. You will know your price range, you will have a better idea of what to expect in closing costs, and when you find a house you like, you'll feel confident in making an offer.
Q. I want to buy a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) property. Can a Realtor help me?
A. Yes. A Realtor can be employed as a buyer's representative and can offer suggestions and advise while guiding you through the purchasing process.
